Painted Eternal makes memorial portraits of people who have died. We are careful with the words on this site, because the people reading them are usually not in a state to be sold to.

The work is easy to describe and hard to do: the face in your photograph carried through exactly, in a style that dignifies rather than dramatises. Old-master oil, charcoal, heritage monochrome. No wings, no clouds, nothing that turns grief into a mood board.

You see three portraits before you pay anything, and you can walk away. If none of them holds them, tell us and we render it again at no cost. We would far rather work twice than have you accept a face that is almost right.

If you are working to a funeral or a memorial date, say so when you order. We will tell you honestly whether it can be met—the rendering takes about a minute, but a printed piece depends on a courier, and we will not promise you a date we do not control.
